I guess you could say that bowtie video has been a long time coming. I fell in love with video production in 8th grade when I started filming skateboarding videos with my friends. I’ve had a camera in my hand ever since then and haven’t looked back. I started the digital marketing company YG Media in 2006 with the goal of creating affordable, high quality marketing videos for small businesses. I’m proud to say that YG Media is still going strong today and has served over 200 clients in the past 14 years.

So how did bowtie video come to be? Well I have to give most of the credit to my wife! She owns Blossom & Beauty which is a hair & makeup company in Portland. I’ve helped her with marketing and have gotten an inside look into the clients she gets to work with. She comes home from weddings filled up and excited about the work she gets to do. I guess you could say that I’m looking to get in on that excitement! My goal as a Portland wedding videographer is to capture your wedding day and all its beautiful emotions, without you noticing I’m there.
